Scott and Joe (Billiard Service by Skip owners) were hired by to move a used 8′ table we purchased from the North end of town to our home on the South West side. Their knowledge regarding billiard tables is astonishing. They are very, very careful in the disassembly and reassembly and can point out any problems with the table (worn parts, non-original parts, etc) very easily. They took great care of our new table, making sure nothing got damaged. We had new felt put on during reassembly and it looks PERFECT. Scott told us how to care for the table and the felt and things to make our table last and play like it should. It’s important to know that we spoke with 4 different pool table moving companies and we chose Billiard Service by Skip because of their experience, the businesses they’ve worked with and most of all because of the knowledge about this industry that they’ve accumulated over 25 years. These folks are the only people we’ll call or recommend in the future!!
